Citizen Science was developed while working with a university professor and was a platform for citizens to rate the condition of water bodies around them. The aim of the application was to spread awareness of water pollution and help people avoid water bodies that pose risk to humans near them.
Technical specification wise this was not a very complex application but developing a very minimalistic UI with material design was something that the team spent a lot of time on. Various iterations of the UI were conducted before finally settling on one.
A lot of research was conducted by the team into UI design practices and the client was kept in the loop throughout. The designers put a lot of effort into converting the client's ideas into a reality.
The app is currently live on the Google Play Store and has a healthy download and positive review ratio. Being a niche application, it is targeting a very limited user base.
